Well known for exhibits that highlight aspects of the natural world, award-winning artist and sculptor Wolfgang Buttress' latest exhibition focuses on the story of bees. Currently located in the World Museum in Liverpool with an extended run due to its popularity, the exhibition is designed to be easily moveable, and it is for that reason that the Grad system was chosen for the raised flooring and accessibility ramps, allowing for easy construction and dismantling.
The system consists of adjustable pedestals with PR24 rails, upon which the Bamboo X-treme Woca boards simply click in to place. The resulting sleek platforms are perfect for exhibition visitors to enjoy the striking and atmospheric visuals. When the time comes to relocate, removal keys can be used to lift the boards without damage and the system can be packed away ready for re-installation at the next venue.
The boards were milled specially for the project to meet the 95mm width specification, narrower than the 120mm widths that are normally stocked. Bespoke dimensions are available in most of our finishes providing minimum order quantities are met.
